Aside from her nod in the prestigious “Female Vocalist” category, Bradley has been nominated for “Emerging Artist of the Year” with her all-girl bluegrass group, Sister Sadie, which released their breakthrough, self-titled studio album earlier this year.
Sister Sadie is comprised of Bradley on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, as well as Tina Adair on mandolin, Deanie Richardson on fiddle, Gena Britt on banjo and Beth Lawrence on acoustic bass.
This past Wednesday, Sister Sadie and Flatt Lonesome performed during the 2016 IBMA Awards Nomination announcement over Sirius XM’s Bluegrass Junction Channel 61 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Throughout her illustrious career in the music scene, Bradley has won “Female Vocalist of the Year” five times, and this year, she was nominated for a Grammy award for “Best Bluegrass Album” for her critically-acclaimed CD Pocket Full of Keys, which Digital Journal dubbed as “magnificent,” and rightfully so. It features an outstanding version of Gin Blossoms’ “Til I Hear it from You.”
