To quote Daffy Duck: It is to laugh. Hardy har har, in fact. 500,000 people cheating to play Call of Duty, (COD) a first-person shooter, is like cheating to eat cornflakes. Cheating means you can’t really play at all, and you’ve decided to prove it.

The COD cheat issues are mainstream, and this case is an object lesson. Cheating in gaming is a long-standing culture – For losers. You didn’t really win, is what it means. This culture typically includes using hacks and codes. Gosh, the bad guys are shooting at you?

What do you do?

Wimp out and cheat.

The typical 10,000% loser response to everything.

If you’ve ever seen a real shooter game, try Post Scriptum, and a good team, you will see why cheating is such a monumental personal failure. You, however, can’t do that? How? Too lazy to breathe, or what?

The sheer number of people banned by COD, (a free game, by the way, you parasite server time wasters and lag causers by adding codes), is an indictment.

“Oh, but gosh, I gotta win and impress someone!” the cheater bleats, endlessly.

Who? Your chicken-brain no-win squad of putrid peasants?

Yourself, assuming you know how to exist at all without cheating?

How quaint.

COD deserves some credit as a high-action, demanding game. It’s not for bozos. It’s fast and commendably furious. It doesn’t need ridiculous little no-skills nobodies playing it.

Nor does online gaming in general. Patience with Single Male Super Macho Drama Queen Cheater Nonentities wore out a very long time ago. Cheating is also easy to spot, and that’s how 500,000 idiots got caught.

Duh… Enter code… Run this… Me SMART!

Ah, no.

You mega-dumb. Masturbation Dropout level.

Gamergimp?

A new name is needed for this phenomenon. How about Gamergimp? Lame gamers?

We could have a whole new class of losers here. Easily categorized, easy to sell no-brainer code to, and great for merchandising stuff about winning games they don’t actually win.

E-sports in general doesn’t need people who can’t play. Nor do real players. Why should hundreds of millions of people who game put up with this crap?  COD has made the statement; the sector should follow through. Lose these losers, and let’s have fun.
