This is the biggest disco show of 2017, and it will come back where it all started in Brooklyn, New York. The 40th Anniversary Celebration of “Saturday Night Fever” will take place at the Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk. This event is hosted by Brooklyn’s own Joe Causi.
Joli performed at Mulcahy’s Pub and Concert Hall in Wantagh this past February, as part of her “Birthday Bash” celebration, which garnered a glowing review.
Prior to her concert, Joli sat down and chatted with Digital Journal.
Aside from France Joli, the line-up will include Deney Terrio, the choreographer of “Saturday Night Fever,” Karen Lynn Gorney who was Stephanie from “Saturday Night Fever,” as well as such musical acts as The Trammps, Tavares, Yvonne Elliman, Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes, First Choice, Carl Carlton, Machine, Anita Ward, George McCrae, Carol Williams, Sharon Brown, Disco Unlimited, which is the top disco band in the East Coast, as well as DJ Ralphie Dee, the original 2001 Odyssey DJ.
