Foo Fighters are headed to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2021

Foo Fighters were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2021. Digital Journal has the scoop.

This marked their first year of eligibility for this tremendous honor and they were recognized in the “Performers” category. The eligible band members for induction include Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Rami Jaffee, Nate Mend, Chirs Shiflett, and Pat Smear.

Grohl was previously inducted into the Rock Hall as a band member of Nirvana.

Foo Fighters are praised for “carrying the torch of in-your-face rock.” They carry the torch of rock authenticity with their infectious hooks, catchy guitar riffs, monster drums, and boundless energy.

In this year’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class, Foo Fighters join a diverse list of inductees which includes Tina Turner, Carole King, The Go-Go’s, Jay-Z, and Todd Rundgren.
