Folk duo March to May talks recent tour and two upcoming videos (Includes interview)

The duo recently performed concerts in the Washington and Oregon area, which they described as a “fun,” tour, where one of the highlights was the mayor of Hood River, Oregon, serving as the host.

One of the most pleasant surprises that happened to them on the road was receiving a handmade classical guitar as a gift from their fans in southern Oregon. “It was such a powerful gesture of appreciation and support,” they said.

While they have had the pleasure to live all over the western hemisphere, they are extremely fond of several places, including Latin America, Seattle and the Pacific Northwest.

The duo had initially met on Craigslist, in an effort to become housemates, as opposed to musicians. Beth was moving to Seattle from our nation’s capital, and looking for a place to live and she moved in with Darren, and neither of the two musicians had any idea that they other payed music up until a few weeks later, and the rest is history.

Following the success of their song “Embers,” which was well-received by Digital Journal, they noted that they have two music videos in the works, where they worked with two very different directors and collaborators. Their first video will be for their song “Georgia” from their EP, and the second video will be for their new song “The Navigator,” which they will release as a single this fall. “The Navigator involves a dance company, underwater videography and a historic steamship,” they concluded.
