Review: Ferry Corsten’s 500th episode of Corsten’s Countdown is a success (Includes first-hand account)

The celebration of his radio show Corsten’s Countdown kicked off with a special marathon eight-hour live broadcast from Club Annabel in his hometown, Rotterdam, Netherlands. Corsten was able to give his fans and followers a glimpse of the action by releasing “Corsten’s Countdown 500 – The Aftermovie,” which displayed some of the evening’s highlights.

This marathon broadcast is available via Corsten’s Soundcloud page, where fans can enjoy the eight-hour show in all of its glory, which consists of exclusive interviews with Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Cosmic Gate and other electronic music acts.

During this broadcast, Corsten incorporated tracks that were requested by fans from all over the world. Most impressive about the countdown is that the fans control all of the music. After the broadcast, Corsten noted that it was “a lot of fun,” “a lot of hard work” and “a lot of stress.” “It was definitely worth it,” he admitted, and he is hoping for 500 more episodes.
