Female rapper Devmo to release new EP ‘Call It A Night’

This new musical effort is quite different from her breakthrough album Real Talk, which introduced the young female rapper to the hip-hop scene last year. That debut project was her first exploration of the different sub-genres of hip hop.

In her new EP, she explores ways of finding herself as a musician and a person. She tackles such subject matters as love, lust, friendships, conflicts, human nature, social issues and society’s taboos. Devmo penned all the songs on the EP, and she produced many of them, enabling her to have full control over the lyrics, sound and vocals. Her song “Lioness” has been an anthem of female empowerment.

For Devmo, the most challenging aspect of being a recording artist, involves vulnerability, as she shares her most intimate emotions with the world, including her friends, fan and family. She underscores the importance of being authentic and honest with her music, since that is the only way for her to inspire improvement.

With her forthcoming EP, Devmo is encouraging her fans and listeners, especially women, to take control of their lives, and Devmo is leading by example.

Devmo is bound to become the next big female star in the rap and hip-hop world. She has been afforded the privilege to rap for Iggy Azalea.
