Emmy award-winning actor and producer Eric Nelsen chatted with Digital Journal’s Markos Papadatos about his 2021 Daytime Emmy nomination for “The Bay.”
Nelsen is nominated alongside such actors as his co-star Mike Manning, Neil Crone (“Endlings”), Cheyenne Jackson (“Julie and the Phantoms”), and last year’s winner Tristan Rogers (“Studio City”).
“This year’s Emmy nomination is a true blessing,” Nelsen admitted. “I’m so grateful to the voters, the Academy, my ‘Bay’ family, and of course my wife, Sainty.”
“Being nominated alongside my on-screen partner, Mike Manning is such an epic feeling. I’m also nominated alongside one of my favorite Broadway actors ever, Cheyenne Jackson. I’ve been a fan of his since I was a little kid. Definitely a pinch-me moment. God is good,” he exclaimed.
Nelsen was proclaimed as “Emmy-worthy” by Digital Journal for this season of “The Bay.” His bold and brave acting performance was praised as a “quiet storm,” where he conveys a wide spectrum of raw emotions, and it hits you like a shot in the heart.
“The Bay” is available for streaming on Popstar! TV.
