How to win: The Sony FX1 can memorize certain parameters based on the shooter’s preferences. Read the review on page 22 of the Spring 2005 issue of Digital Journal magazine and if you can correctly name five parameters the FX1 can memorize, you could win this high-def camera!

Once you have read the review and you think you’ve got the answers, simply email contest@digitaljournal.com with the five parameters along with your name, age, full mailing address and phone number by midnight (EDT) on May 31, 2005. All entry forms with five correct parameters will be entered into a random draw. The winner will be announced in the summer 2005 issue of Digital Journal magazine.
Grand Prize: Sony HDR-FX1 HDV Camcorder (approximate value: $4,999 CDN). Five runners-up will receive a FREE two-year subscription to Digital Journalmagazine (8 issues).
Full Contest Rules:
- No purchase necessary, only one entry per household.
- The five parameters must be the same five listed in Digital Journal‘s Spring 2005 issue.
- The grand prize winner must answer a skill-testing question before claiming the prize.
- The winner will be announced in the Summer 2005 issue of Digital Journal magazine.
- The grand prize will be awarded at Digital Journal‘s office in Toronto. If the winner is unable to pick up the prize in person, Digital Journal will ship it to the winner.
- Five runners-up will be drawn randomly to receive a free two-year subscription to Digital Journal magazine. For entrants that already have a subscription upon entering the contest, their subscription will be extended by an additional two years (8 issues).
- The contest is open to legal residents of Canada and the United States.
