The Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum is one of Nashville’s premiere tourist destinations, and Emmylou Harris will be joined by several original members of The Hot Band, as well as Ricky Skaggs and The Whites during a fundraiser that will honor acclaimed music producer Brian Ahern.
Ahern is an inductee of the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame, and he is the recipient of the Americana Lifetime Achievement Award. As a producer, he has worked with such musical acts as Emmylou Harris, Anne Murray, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, George Jones, Glen Campbell, Black Sabbath and Linda Ronstadt, among others.
The funds raised from this event will go towards the restoration of Ahern’s Enactron trailer, which is a mobile recording studio that was designed and built by Ahern in 1972; moreover, it is one of the first mobile recording studios used to record projects on location. The Enactron has a history of over 40 gold and platinum albums, which is quite impressive. In this trailer, such timeless songs were recorded as Bette Midler’s “The Rose” and Barbra Streisand’s “A Star is Born.”
This fundraiser will take place on December 14, at 7:30 p.m. at the iconic Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum, which is an organization that is located in the Historic Municipal Auditorium, at 401 Gay Street, in Nashville, Tennessee.
