Ellie Goulding lands in the Top 3 with ‘Love Me Like You Do’

Goulding moves up three spots from last week’s position on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, peaking at No. 3.

Thanks to the commercial success of the major motion picture Fifty Shades of Grey, Goulding’s single “Love Me Like You Do” had the biggest gain in digital sales, and it has charted for only seven weeks. The song is featured in the movie’s soundtrack. It garnered a rave review from Digital Journal, and rightfully so.

This marks Goulding’s second highest-charting radio single since “Lights” peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts back in 2011.
