Edvin Ortega to host White Plains’ New Year’s Eve Spectacular

He will be the “Ryan Seacrest” equivalent of White Plains, where he will be the master of ceremonies for the evening. Ortega will be outside on New Year’s Eve, where he will make opening remarks as he introduces guests and performers as he gets the crowd excited for the ball to drop to ring in 2017.

Larger Than Life will be providing musical entertainment for the whole night. They will perform songs from their tribute show catalog, as well as Top 40 songs and standards for all ages.

Aside from being a member of the boy band cover group Larger Than Life, Ortega is a deejay and actor. He has appeared in such productions as Gotham and Orange Is The New Black. He has a documentary about his band that is coming out next year. This documentary feature follows his journey of becoming a popular tribute show and an entertainment company.

Speaking of documentaries, Ortega was honored as “Best Director for Musical Documentary” at Atlantic City’s Cinefest for his film, Larger Than Life: A Boy Band Story.
