Edith Piaf one night only show to take place at Carnegie Hall

This show will celebrate the 60th anniversary of Edith Piaf’s final performance at the iconic venue Carnegie Hall. It stars Anne Carrere in the role of acclaimed French songstress Edith Piaf, and her portrayal has garnered rave reviews from the LA Times. Gil Marsalla served as its producer and director.

Philippe Villa will play the piano, Guy Giuliano will be on accordion, with Laurent Sarrien on percussion and xylophone, as well as Daniel Fabriquant on double bass.

This production was inspired by the Oscar-winning motion picture, La Vie en Rose, starring Marion Cotillard. It pays homage to Piaf, and it is a musical celebration of her life. It will be divided into two 45-minute acts and it deals with the rags to riches story of Piaf’s career through her unforgettable classic hits, coupled by a visual tapestry of previously unreleased photographs and images of famous locations of the Edith Piaf era.

The Carnegie Hall show is the highlight of the American leg of their world tour. For more information on this Edith Piaf tribute show, check out its website.
