Country singer-songwriter Dylan Marlowe chatted about his single “Why’d We Break Up Again.”

Regarding his new single “Why’d We Break Up Again,” he said, “We put it out a month or two ago. With this Cole Swindell tour, I wanted a high-energy song. The energy is key on the road. We are excited about this song.”

On being back at The Paramount, he said, “Honestly, this is the most excited that I have been on this tour. We were here with Dylan Scott seven months ago. Ever since that crowd and that show, I was so pumped to get back here.”

As a songwriter, Marlowe co-wrote the chart-topper “Last Night Lonely,” which became a smash hit for Jon Pardi.

Marlowe shared that he performed it while he was touring with Dylan Scott, but back then, the song was in the 30s on the charts.

He listed “Springsteen” as his favorite Eric Church song, as well as one of his personal favorite tunes ever.

If he were to have any superpower, it would be “invisibility” so that he could “sneak in the woods and hunt.”

Marlowe listed Miranda Lambert and Kelsea Ballerini as his dream female duet choices.

If he were to go on “The Masked Singer,” he shared that he would dress up as a “bunny rabbit.”

Marlowe defined success as “having a good living doing what he loves.” “Also, when I am playing stadiums someday,” he said.

For his fans, he concluded, “I appreciate the fans, especially for streaming my music. I hope they roll their windows down, ride down some dirt roads and listen to the song.”
