Nashville recording artist and singer-songwriter Dwain Messer released his new country single “Cowboys and Rednecks.” Digital Journal has the scoop.
The song is upbeat and a great deal of fun, coupled with a neo-traditional country vibe. It is the third track from his new album “Goes So Fast.” It was penned by Messer and produced by Mark Beckett, the son of the legendary Barry Beckett.
The song “Cowboys and Rednecks Like Me” entertains listeners with a story that is based on true events about a good college friend. Messer remarked “It was a joke about her dating preferences within the circle of friends that we hung with. But I altered the story a little to protect the innocent.”
He has been hailed as “the past, present, and future of country music” by famed music journalist Robert K. Oermann.
