They had nothing but the greatest words about New York. “New York has been great. We have been here many times, but this is our first time here during Christmas. There are Christmas lights everywhere. It is really nice,” Stephan said. “This is the first time I see snow here, and the traffic is hectic, but New York has a nice vibe,” Victor added.
On December 16, DubVision will be performing at Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. “We’ve never played there before. We will be flying there tomorrow morning and we will have an awesome show,” Stephan said.
Regarding their plans for the future, Stephan said, “We have some amazing shows coming up next year. We are going to be in Los Angeles next week shooting a music video for our new track. We just came back from Iceland, and we filmed a music video there. It is going to be awesome. We are excited about Winter Music Conference in Miami in March. That is going to be sick.”
They are drawn to electronic music due to its “sounds.” “It is easy to put a guitar or a piano in the sounds. It can be authentic and electronic at the same time,” Stephan said.
On the future of electronic music in the next five years, Victor said, “Electronic music is always evolving. I think techno is making a big comeback and it will grow even more. Also, I feel that progressive house is coming back, which is good for us. Trance will always be around. They have very loyal fans.”
The duo of Dutch brothers is pleased with the fact that electronic music affords them the privilege to travel the world, all while doing something that they love, making music. “That is really special,” they admitted. “It gives us a warm feeling inside. Travel is a big motivation, and so are the messages from the fans on how touched they are with our songs. That is inspiring to us.”
They listed Rihanna and Adele as their dream female collaboration choices in music.
DubVision is proud to be a part of the Armada record label family. “It’s amazing. We’ve worked with them for a while. They are a great team of people,” the duo concurred.
On the origin of their stage name, Victor said, “Stephan came up with it. We are two brothers with a double vision, hence DubVision.”

Streaming encourages to skip through tracks. Streaming makes it easy to reach people, but it makes them impatient. The skip rates are insane. People judge the song in one second if they like it or not. Sometimes, it takes one or two times to listen to a song in its entirety for the song to grow on you.”
Their new collaboration with Afrojack entitled “New Memories” is out, and it’s available on iTunes. “Our new track with Afrojack is out now. We are very happy with it. We filmed the music video for it in Iceland, and we are excited about that,” Victor said.
For their fans, Victor concluded, “We love you guys. It’s going to be an exciting New Year ‘2018.’ Keep following us.”
Stephan defined the word success as “Being happy with what you release, and staying connected with your fans. Our goal is to reach more fans, and make more music. We want to have
