DJ Mike Savage discusses Halloween night at Mulcahy’s (Includes interview)

“This is an event that I look forward to for an entire year,” Mike Savage admitted. “There’s nothing like Halloween. It brings out the kid inside us and that’s why I love spinning for this party. It’s hands down my favorite party of the entire year.”

Savage continued, “This will be my fifth Halloween at Mulcahy’s. It has a long history of being one of, if not the biggest, Halloween party on Long Island. Each year, we try to outdo the last. Halloween at Mulcahy’s is legendary.”

When asked what one can expect tonight at Mulcahy’s, he said, “Expect a ton of energy in that room tonight. Everyone is dressed up, they are there early and everyone is ready to party. Myself and Johnathan Move will be supplying the soundtrack for the evening so you know that the music will be on point all night long. Move and I work extremely well together, and we always deliver an amazing night of music. I like to get into the spirit and fuck with people! Expect to hear some classic Halloween tunes, random screams, random scary movie scenes and of course Vincent Price will be making an appearance.”

On his plans for the future, he said, “Just keep working and bringing my best each time. I’m fortunate enough to spin at a venue that has provided me the opportunity to reach thousands of people and span every genre of music possible. I’m very appreciative of the opportunity to work at Mulcahy’s and it is a team effort from security to the bartenders, kitchen crew sound and lighting and of course the management. Allan, Ricky, Bobby, Tim and of course, the man himself John Murray.”
