David Frizzell releases new ‘Barnyard Christmas’ storybook and CD

This original project presents the story of the birth of Christ as told by animal characters that were present at the manger. With this special project, Frizzell is offering his distinct perspective on the meaning of Christmas, through the eyes of the barnyard animals that were present at the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem.

The 10-song album and the book, include such special guests as Allen Frizzell, and the Martin Family Circus, and an impressive line-up of gifted musicians.

This month, anybody who adopts an animal via the Music City Animal Rescue, or makes a minimum donation, will receive an autographed copy of Frizzell’s new album and storybook. The Music City Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization. It is a foster home-based rescue that provides neglected animals with the food, shelter, and medical care that they need. These animals include dogs, cats, as well as goats, horses and chickens.

On December 9, David Frizzell will be performing at the Midnight Jamboree in Nashville, for a special adoption and animal rescue awareness event. The Midnight Jamboree is the second longest-running radio show in history.

Earlier this year, David Frizzell collaborated with “Miss Country Soul” Jeannie Seely on the traditional country ballad “Nobody’s Darlin’ But Mine,” where they honored the late Merle Haggard.
