His “Believe” show at The Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas feature over 40 grand-scale illusions, which is more than any other magic show in the world. Angel has performed more hours of magic on prime-time television than any other magician in history, which places him in a league of his own; that is more hours of magic on TV than his biggest hero, Harry Houdini, as well as David Copperfield, Siegfried & Roy, Penn & Teller and Doug Henning combined.
A multi-award-winning magician and illusionist, Angel performs tens shows of “Believe” a week at The Luxor, and to date, he has performed thousands of “Believe” shows for fans who have come from all over the world to witness this magical production.
Being Greek-American, last month he was honored by the National Hellenic Society.
In his personal life, Angel tweeted his gratitude to his fans, thanking them for all of their thoughts and prayers for his one-year-old son, who was recently diagnosed with leukemia. “4th day chemo- Shaunyl, Johnny & I can’t thank u enough for the overwhelming outpouring of love, prayers & support ,” he said in a subsequent tweet.
