Country star John Anderson inks PR deal with Absolute Publicity

Anderson noted that he has watched the Nashville-based PR firm, Absolute Publicity, grow for almost a decade, and he shared that he is proud to be a client of theirs as of today. He noted that the president of the PR firm, Mr. Don Murry Grubbs, has a firm understanding of his music and what he has done musically over the past 35 years; moreover, Grubbs understands the vision for his future.

Aside from Anderson, Absolute Publicity represents such musical acts as Ricky Skaggs, The Marshall Tucker Band, Larry Gatlin, Ray Stevens, John Berry, Aaron Tippin, Darryl Worley, Shenandoah, Restless Heart, country duo Halfway to Hazard, Pam Tillis, Kelly Lang, as well as Mel Tillis and Sammy Kershaw.

Throughout his respected career in the country music business, which has spanned 35 years, he has charted over 60 singles on the Billboard country charts, which include 20 Top 10 hits, and six chart-topping singles, including “Swingin’,” “Seminole Wind,” “Black Sheep,’ “Wild and Blue,” “Straight Tequila Night,” and “Money in the Bank.”

In 1983, he was awarded the “Horizon Award” by the Country Music Association (CMA), and the “Career Achievement Award” by the Academy of Country Music (ACM) in 1993. Anderson was inducted into the coveted Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2014.
