Country king Kenny Rogers to retire from touring

His 2016 forthcoming world tour is scheduled to be his last. For over 57 years in the music industry, Rogers has been touring consistently, bringing his music to his fans, while being out on the road. He made this bittersweet announcement this morning during an appearance on The Today Show on NBC.

The details and the tour dates for Rogers‘ final world tour are expected to be announced in the coming months.

This announcement coincides with Rogers‘ release of his first new Christmas album in 17 years, which is entitled Once Again It’s Christmas. This is his sixth career Christmas album.
