Find Red*
In addition to winning an awesome M&M’S iPod Touch prize pack, you also have the chance to win a Smart car from M&M’S!
The five colourful M&M’S spokescandies are looking for their outspoken brother, Red, and Canadians will have a chance to win a red smart fortwo coupé for helping with the search in a new online promotion – Find Red.
Starting today through Dec. 4, Canadians can help Red’s chocolate chums find their friend by visiting findred.ca, where consumers can access a version of Google Maps Street View and scour the (digital) City of Toronto to search for Red’s three different locations. Each participant who registers online at findred.ca will automatically receive an entry into a Sweepstakes for the chance to win a new red smart fortwo coupé! Canadians lucky enough to find Red’s locations will automatically earn additional entries into the Sweepstakes, which also includes a variety of great secondary prizing.
To help with the search, the M&M’S characters will seed clues to Red’s whereabouts on various social media channels, including M&M’S Canadian Facebook page, on YouTube and on Twitter @mmsfindred (hashtag #FindRed). You can also follow Red as he checks into various locations around Toronto using Foursquare and leaves clues on the barcodes of delicious participating M&M’S products through stickybits. For those out and about in real-world Toronto, pay attention to wild postings of M&M’S Characters around you — each contains a QR code, which will release a Community Clue to find Red. A total of 18 QR Codes are available to be revealed, aiding Canadians in this exciting quest.
*The Find Red contest is brought to you by M&M’S and is not affiliated with DigitalJournal.com. Please go to findred.ca for entry, full rules and prize details.
