Actor Conner Floyd (“The Young and The Restless”) chatted about his new films “The Last Deal” and “She Inherited Danger.”

‘The Last Deal’

He plays the role of Marcus in the crime thriller “The Last Deal” opposite Anthony Molinari. “This movie was cool,” he said. “It is really cool to see that come to life because we shot that in 2020 mid-pandemic. To finally see it come to life has been awesome. Everybody in that movie was great. I was excited to meet Sala Baker because I loved ‘Lord of the Rings’.”

“I really enjoyed working with Jonathan Salemi, the director, so it has been cool to see him bring this film to life. He wrote that role in for me, we hit it off during the whole audition process and we were eager to work together. I enjoyed the movie because it was original, I hadn’t seen a story like that before,” he said.

“I also loved working with Anthony Molinari, he is the man,” he exclaimed.

‘She Inherited Danger’

He also spoke about his latest Lifetime movie, “She Inherited Danger,” which came out yesterday. “I love working with Peter Foldy, he is the man. It is always good to see him and to work with him. He did a great job, I enjoyed it. Peter is super creative, and he has a great eye,” he admitted.

“We shot that in Oklahoma so most of the hires were local hires from the Midwestern area,” he said.

‘Stolen In Her Sleep’

He worked with Alicia Leigh Willis and Meredith Thomas in “Stolen in Her Sleep,” which was directed by John Murlowski. “That was fun,” he admitted. “I had done a handful of Lifetime movies with the director.”

“Alicia Leigh Willis is awesome, and she also came from the daytime drama world. Meredith Thomas is great, I love her. I would have loved to have done more scenes with her,” he said.

‘The Young and The Restless’

He is looking forward to the upcoming 50th anniversary of “The Young and The Restless” on CBS. “It has been fun,” he said. “We have some entertaining scenes coming up so get ready. We have had a lot of fun shooting these scenes,” he foreshadowed.

“I’ve been on ‘The Young and The Restless’ for two years now playing Chance but many of the movies that I’ve done before are now finally coming to light,” he said.

Floyd had positive words about working with soap vet James Hyde, who plays the villainous Jeremy Stark. “I love working with James Hyde, he is the best. James is so cool, and I enjoy doing cop scenes with him. James has great energy,” he said.

He acknowledged that doing the PTSD storyline on the show was “tough.” “I really wanted to do that justice because it is a very real thing. I hope I did it all right,” he said.

On the title of the current chapter of his life, he said, “Figuring it Out.” “I’ve been in this chapter for a long time,” he said with a sweet laugh.

Success

Regarding his definition of success, Floyd said, “I am just trying to be happy and to be in the moment. I am focusing on sticking my feet on the ground and giving ‘The Young and The Restless’ 100 percent right now.”

“Thank you for the support and thank you for the love, and for accepting me. It has been a wild ride since I have been there and thank you for sticking it out with me,” Floyd concluded for his loyal “The Young and The Restless” fans.
