Chicago to perform two shows at Westbury on Long Island

One of the iconic group’s founding members, Robert Lamm, spoke to this journalist about their 2018 North American Tour, where they played their Chicago II album in its entirety, as well as the world’s longest encore, which was comprised of their greatest hits.

Last year, on July 20, they performed a concert at West Palm Beach, Florida, where they dedicated their song “25 or 6 to 4” to Parkland shooting victim, the late Alex Schachter. On August 3, 2018, Chicago performed at the Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh on Long Island, as part of the Laid Back Festival.

On September 23, 2018, they played at the historic St. George Theatre in Staten Island, New York, for a sold-out venue.

In 2016, Chicago received one of music’s highest honors, an induction into the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in the “Performers Category.”
