Chatting with Taylor Swift Tribute act Elizabeth Scarborough (Includes interview)

On being at Mulcahy’s in Wantagh, she said, “It’s crazy. I was thinking ‘how did I even get here?’ It started back when I was 12, and a huge fan of Taylor. It’s a humbling moment to think that everything you’ve done since the beginning has now gotten me here.”

Scarborough added, “I am very humbled and very excited to be here, and I am looking forward to it.”

Most recently, she completed her residency in Branson, Missouri, which was a “really great experience” for Scarborough. “We had an awesome summer. We had so many good acts and a really strong crowd,” she admitted.

A South Carolina native, Scarborough is drawn to the country genre due to its stories. She listed country mega-star Kenny Chesney as her dream male duet choice.

Her plans for the future are to continue some national touring, as well as shows at Foxwoods Resort Casino’s Fox Theater during Thanksgiving weekend with “Legends in Concert.”

Digital Journal reviewed Elizabeth Scarborough’s set at Mulcahy’s.
