Helen Keller once said: “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched — they must be felt with the heart.” This quote applies to Michelle McBride.
The digital age
On being an actress, model, and content creator in the digital age, McBride said, “It feels great!”
“I feel like it’s all good. It can be a bit of a dualistic thing considering that the digital age is beneficial in a lot of ways but also, but also it can be a little bit negative if you allow it to be,” she expanded.
“The digital age gives people an outlet for whatever their medium choice is, in whichever way they choose to express it, so I think it’s good to stay mindful of that, as well as to stay grounded and positive,” she added.
Using technology in her daily routine
On utilizing technology in her daily routine, she shared, “I use it to research a lot of different things, especially for a role.”
“For instance, if I am playing a nurse, I would look up what the day to day procedurals look like, including professional videos on what a nurse does, and even spend some extra time at the hospital in order to take in authentic background knowledge on the background knowledge on the medical aspect of the profession,” she elaborated.
“Also, I think technology can be a great tool for social media for editing purposes (such as photos and videos) and for marketing,” she added.
Inspirations as an actress
On her daily inspirations as an actress, McBride said, “I am mostly inspired by being able to express myself creatively and exercise the different mediums of being emotional and tapping into different human instincts, creatively.”
“Also, if I am having a bad day or sad, rather than fight it I just allow it to flow through me in the healthiest way I can manage,” she said.
“Outside of connecting with close ones, I would like to watch my favorite movie or show, or listen to my favorite song, whether I want to cry it out, or feel understood, feel emotionally resonated with, or otherwise just be spurred into feeling happier,” she elaborated.
“The art form of acting is such a beautiful way to connect emotionally with people, as well as engage the feelings we sometimes suppress, so that’s the most exciting thing for me,” she added.
‘The Bay’
In the multi-Emmy award-winning daytime drama series “The Bay,” created by Gregori J. Martin, McBride plays the role of Alice.
“It’s so fun,” she admitted. “I love it. Filming it is always a good time, so that’s very exciting. I work with a great set of people.”

Working with Kristos Andrews
McBride had great words about working with 11-time Emmy winner Kristos Andrews. “It’s great,” she exclaimed. “Kristos is amazing. He is so talented. It’s mesmerizing how he flips between both of his characters (Pete Garrett and Adam Kenway).”
“Sometimes, they film both characters on the same day, so he is able to go from the sweetheart to the badass instantaneously,” she said. “Kristos is able to do that so easily and he makes it seem so natural and effortless.”
“Kristos is just so crazy good at his craft,” she added.
Max Ehrich and Mike Manning

Career-defining moments
On her career-defining moments, she revealed, “Anything hard I’ve gone through has defined me. Adversity makes us stronger. You can’t heal if you haven’t been broken, and that’s what gives you a lot of depth as a person.”
“All of the hard moments I experienced in life have helped shape me into myself and assisted me on my mission of being able to express things creatively,” she added.
Stage of her life
On the title of the current chapter of her life, she said, “Progressing and growing.”
“It’s a constant chapter,” she said with a sweet laugh. “That’s what comes to mind.”
