Throughout his illustrious career in magic, Jorgos has been awarded two prestigious Merlin awards for “Best Stage Magician” in 2008 and 2012 respectively. “That was a big honor for me on both occasions. The fact that I was awarded it in Times Square made it even more special,” he said. “The Merlin awards were a great motivation for me to push even harder in my craft.”
Regarding his plans for the future, Jorgos said, “I work in a theater in Germany, and my goal is to perform in our beloved Greece. I have a few appointments in the upcoming weeks to do a big show in Greece. After that, I would like to continue in Germany, and I would like to do a major show in an arena here in Germany.”
Jorgos is a firm believer of giving credit where credit is due. He would like to extend his gratitude to his dedicated assistant, Heidi, from the United Kingdom, who has been with him for 14 years, who played an instrumental role in his career and his successes.
In his native Greece he began doing magic at the age of eight, and he has been immersed ever since. Each week, Jorgos performs 10 shows, and his live performance includes both classic magic tricks, as well as his own, authentic illusions.
