Chatting with country singer Travis Rice: ‘Women, Water and Beer’ (Includes interview)

Regarding his latest radio single “Women, Water and Beer,” Rice said, “Honestly, it was an autobiographical story of what I like to do in my spare time. Any time, I am free in the summertime that’s where I’m at. We like to go in the water, drink beers and have some fun. It came out really fun, which we really enjoyed it. I’m living the country boy dream right now.”

Rice was the sole writer for “Women, Water and Beer,” and the song was produced by Noah Henson, who has produced Kane Brown’s new EP Closer. “Noah is great and he is taking us to the next level. It made it so relaxing and the vibe was great. We get along so well. My producer did a good job encompassing that fun atmosphere in the song,” he said.

On his plans for the future, Rice said, “We are pushing the single right now and we are touring the summer with it. Our big plans are to keep growing and putting out music that connects with people. We are all about connecting with our fans. As long as we can continue to do that, we will be happy.”

Rice listed Reba McEntire as his dream female collaboration choice in country music. “Reba is a class act all the way across. She has done it all and that would complete the whole thing for me,” he said.
