Chatting with country singer Chase Bryant: ‘Little Bit of You’ (Includes interview)

On performing in Wantagh, as part of Tim McGraw’s “Shotgun Rider” tour, he said, “It feels good. The weather is nice, and you can’t beat that. It is good to be back. The tour is great, and to be out with one of my idols is incredible. I am glad to be here.”

His new single “Little Bit of You” on Red Bow Records, is the follow-up to his Top 10 debut single “Take It On Back.” “It’s our brand new single and for me, it is my ‘got to get to that girl as fast as you can’ song. That’s what it’s all about,” he said.

From his five-song set at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater, he also described his song “Change Your Name” as his “only love song.”

Bryant revealed that his new studio album is nearly done, and he is waiting on the artwork for it. “As soon as I can get back in town, and have some time off, we will hopefully put it out,” he said.

He listed Shania Twain, Kelsea Ballerini and Stevie Nicks (from Fleetwood Mac) as his dream female duet choices in the music industry.

On being compared to Hunter Hayes, he finds that quite flattering. “Hunter is incredibly talented, for sure,” Bryant said.
