On performing at The Paramount, Giglio said, “I love playing this place. It’s a great venue.”
His proudest moments include his marriage and his beautiful kids. “Playing with the Gershwin Prize with Billy Joel and LeAnn Rimes was also amazing,” he said.
On his plans for the future, he said, “My brain is always going. I’m actually working on a music library, so I’m getting some songs together for that, and I’m working on a website. It’s a lot of fun and I’m meeting a lot of new people. Trying to find some amazing talent that is out there. I’m definitely blessed.”
Aside from his musical endeavors with Big Shot, Giglio is also the musical director for Alexa Ray Joel, as well as the keyboard specialist at The Lion King: The Musical. “Those are fun to do. I’ve been with The Lion King for the past five years. It’s a fantastic show,” he said.
Throughout his career in the music industry, Giglio has performed and recorded with Movin’ Out (the Billy Joel musical), and he has collaborated with such diverse artists as Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Carly Simon, Nine Days and Jill Goia, among many others.
