TikTok and Internet sensation Adam Milardovic chatted with Digital Journal’s Markos Papadatos about being a digital content creator in the digital age.

Most recently, he surpassed three million followers on TikTok. “It feels amazing,” he exclaimed. “This was literally a life goal of mine to have a million followers on any platform and I thought it was unrealistic to think it was possible, but now that it has happened I can gladly say I’ve deserved it because I’ve put the time and work in to achieve this goal I’ve wanted since I was a kid.”

“A lot of influencers when they get followers their personality changes, I really focus on remembering where I came from as a form of humility,” he said.

On being a digital content creator in the digital age, he said, “It feels incredible, especially now since I’m older and a bit more mature and self-aware. This is a dream that I have been striving to achieve for years now, to finally hit it is a testament to all the hard work I put in.”

Regarding his daily motivations, he said, “My motivation comes from just wanting to be successful and to make this my career. This is all I’ve wanted to do with my life and for me, this doesn’t feel like work, so it’s ten times more enjoyable because I love creating content.”

On his plans for the future, he said, “My plans are to start my YouTube again and grow my channel to a million which is already moving well! I also want to start my own brand eventually and scale that to be potentially a multi-million business.”

He opened up about several moments that helped define him. “Definitely high school and dealing with being bullied on a regular basis and learning how to be strong and not care about what people think about me,” he said.

“Resilience is a tough thing to learn, especially for anyone trying to do something a little bit different,” he added.

For young and aspiring digital content creators, Milardovic said, “My advice would be is be consistent and do whatever makes you happy and if it’s good quality content it’s gonna eventually work for you and people will follow that. Always be striving to improve as well.”

On his definition of the word success, he said, “The word success means to me that I’m in a place where I don’t have to worry about money and I can support the people around me.”

“Financial risk is the one big issue all creatives have to deal with at some point. The day I permanently eliminate that will be amazing,” he explained.

For his fans and supporters, Milardovic said, “I would love to say thank you to everyone that has stuck by me and supported me all these years! and for the new followers that just started following me this year, this is just the start so stay tuned.”
