Actress Rhiannon Fish chatted about her latest movies, which include “A Prince in Paradise” and “‘Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths.”

‘A Prince in Paradise’

“A Prince in Paradise” will premiere on Saturday, January 7th on Great American Family, and she stars opposite Australian actor Mitchell Bourke. “This movie was so much fun,” she said. “It is pretty exciting to be the first movie for this year’s Great American Winter. It is really cool that they chose this movie for their wintertime special because we shot it on a beach in Australia and it’s the epitome of a summertime movie. It is really cool that they are playing it for their winter rollout.”

“Growing up, as a young girl, I always dreamed about being a princess,” she admitted. “It had this element when I was doing it that I was living that childhood fantasy. When I watched the final edit last night, I told the director that this was the most enchanting movie I have ever been a part of. It made me want to go back to the locations that we filmed it and re-live a tropical vacation. I was very honored to have been able to do this movie,” she elaborated.

“Working with Mitchell [Bourke] as Prince Alexander was great. He is a very, very talented actor, and I think you could tell. He always embodies a prince to me, and he looked like a stereotypical prince. Visually, he looked the part and he was charming,” she added.

‘The Christmas Retreat’

Most recently, she was in “The Christmas Retreat” on UPtv, where she starred along with Clayton James. “I loved working with Clayton, he is the best,” she exclaimed. “That was really fun and one of my favorite movies I’ve ever done. I just adore Clayton, he very quickly became one of my favorite people in the world.”

‘Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths’

Fish also starred in the Hallmark film “Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths” alongside Hunter King, where Madison Smith played patrol officer Robby Watts, her love interest in the movie. “Madison is such a sweetheart, bless him. He is so lovely and he is working so much and I am really happy for him,” she said.

She revealed that she would love to someday work with Hallmark star Andrew Walker as her male lead love interest. “I’ve played his sister in ‘The 27-Hour Day,’ but my goal would be to play his love interest,” she said with a sweet laugh.

Regarding the title of the current chapter of her life, Fish responded, “Whenever I get to make a wish on a shooting star or when I blow out a birthday candle, I always wish for the people that I love to be happy and healthy. Honestly, if that is what the next chapter is for the people that I love, and myself included, that’s all I could ever wish for.”

Success

On her definition of the word success, Fish said, “Success, for me, is about balance. I really try to find a balance, and appreciating everything that I do. As an actor, you need to have a sense of gratitude for every moment when you feel successful. Whenever you are grateful, everything feels like a success.”

For viewers and fans, she concluded about her new film “A Prince in Paradise,” “It really does challenge traditions, and there are some beautiful scenes in it where they are discussing royal protocols, and what it means to be a royal. I think this will inspire people to follow their heart and be with who they love.”
