Charlie Puth to release debut EP, to play ‘Saturday Night Live’

Puth is the singer and songwriter behind the chart-topping single “See You Again,” which is featured in the Furious 7: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. It pays tribute to the late Paul Walker. Puth will be performing the song with acclaimed rapper Wiz Khalifa on May 2 on Saturday Night Live. The song reached No. 1 in over 90 countries worldwide, and it spends its second consecutive week in a row in the coveted No. 1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.

“See You Again” made history as Spotify’s most -streamed track in a single week, with an impressive 21.9 million worldwide streams. The single garnered rave reviews from Digital Journal.

On May 4, he will be releasing his debut EP, Some Type of Love via his record label, Atlantic Records. It consists of four songs, including his lead single “Marvin Gaye,” where he collaborates with pop star Meghan Trainor, as well as the retro ballad “I Won’t Tell A Soul.”
