Catching up with Zac Brown Tribute Band at Mulcahy’s Pub in NY (Includes interview)

On performing at Mulcahy’s, front-man Pete Frank said, It’s great. I love it here.”

On December 9, ZBTB will be returning for a performance at Mulcahy’s, as part of their annual Christmas show. “Last year, we did a gig the night before Christmas, but this year we are doing it earlier, so that we can be home with our families. I am excited about that,” he said.

Frank revealed that their set-list tonight would include “Colder Weather” and “Homegrown.” “It is right before the end, since it’s a nice low tune,” he said.

Each day, Frank is motivated by his desire to play music. “This is what I do for fun. It’s a good time to have fun with your friends and to entertain some people, and to share your gift. I feel everybody on stage is gifted.”

When asked what their first impressions were when they first met each other, Frank joked that his band members “all hated him,” prior to revealing that they met while in previous bands.
