Two-time Grammy award-winning Christian music superstar Jason Crabb chatted about touring and his new music.
In his career, Kentucky-born Jason Crabb has won two Grammy Awards and over 21 Dove Awards, being recognized as the Gospel Music Association’s Dove Awards “Artist” and “Male Vocalist of the Year” along with “Song of the Year.”
His electrifying stage presence, resonant vocals, and magnetic personality have endeared him to millions across the world – through extensive personal appearances, media coverage, and social media including over 20 million views on YouTube.
On his new album, “Miracle in a Manger,” he said, “I am so excited about it. It was the album of my dreams. It’s a feel-good album.”
Crabb listed “Being Home For Christmas” as his favorite song on the new CD. “I had a lot of fun recording it and writing it. The song was warm and cozy. Also, I enjoyed ‘Tennessee Christmas,’ which is the duet with Iveth Luna,” he said.
He noted that touring has been going “really good.” “We have a big tour coming up,” he hinted. “I am really excited about that. It will be a lot of fun. The music is moving so fast,” he said.
If he were to have any superpower, it would be “the power of love.” “With this superpower, everybody would just repent and love each other,” he said.
Crabb listed CeCe Winans as his dream female duet choice in the entertainment business. “CeCe is fantastic,” he exclaimed. “I love her soul, that would be a very fun duet,” he said, prior to also complimenting Anne Wilson for being “great.”
On the title of the current chapter of his life, Crabb said, “Soaking It All In.” “I’m really loving it. Doing this is something I’ve always dreamed about. I’m loving life,” he said.
Regarding his definition of the word success, Crabb said, “Success is a day with my family.” “I love being on stage and presenting the gospel. I am thankful for that. The Lord smiles when I spend a day with my family,” he said.
Crabb remarked about his new music, “Get ready! This music is fresh, it’s a lot of fun and there is a lot of meaning behind it. I am so grateful that I get to do what I love to do for a living.”
