This fan event, hosted by Amanda Ramirez and family, marked the 10th anniversary of Team Rob Wilson, and it was held in Wilmington, North Carolina, at Embassy Suites by Hilton Wilmington Riverfront.

“It’s awesome to be here,” Wilson exclaimed. “I am very grateful. We’ve been talking about putting this event together for over two years, and we decided to do it right here in North Carolina, and it has been great.”

On working with Amanda Ramirez, he remarked, “Amanda is a rockstar, and such a sweetheart. She has been running my fan account for 10 years now. I appreciate all of her incredible support, and all of her family’s support. Amanda works really hard to represent me and the show. So, it was nice to finally do an event with her.”

“I am just very thankful that the fans care so much about me and the show,” Wilson expressed.

“It was a fabulous event,” Ronda Lipsohn, fan and attendee said about the Wilmington fan event. “I had a fun time axe throwing and just to spend time with Robert Scott Wilson, and getting to know him on a more up-close and personal level. Rob is just so great to his fans.”

Wilson on playing a Greek character Alex Kiriakis in ‘Days of Our Lives’

On playing a Greek character (Alex Kiriakis) on the soap opera “Days of Our Lives,” he exclaimed, “It feels great to play a Kiriakis. I get to have a little taste of what it’s like to be cool like the Greeks, so it has been great.”

“I am honored to carry on with the name and be associated with that legendary family. So, being a Kiriakis feels really good,” he admitted.

“They touch on Greek heritage, culture and food from time to time, but generally, when we are doing those scenes, they are in the Brady Pub and things like that,” he noted.

“So, while there might not be Greek food all the time, I do like when they do some nods to that, especially to preserve the legacy of Victor Kiriakis, who was played by the late but great John Aniston,” he elaborated.

Wilson on Greece

When asked if he has visited Greece yet, he responded, “I’ve never been there yet but if I were to do a European trip, Greece is always a place that I would love to see.”

Wilson remembers the late photographer Brad Everett Young

Wilson remembered the late photographer Brad Everett Young, who was recently killed in a car accident in Los Angeles on September 14th. “What happened to Brad was an awful tragedy, and it is a huge loss for the industry because he championed everybody. He was such a kind man,” Wilson said.

“Brad championed his friends who are actors. He was a big support system and a great photographer. So, it was super tragic, and he will forever be missed, for sure,” Wilson added.

Greatest lesson that acting has taught him

On the greatest lesson that the acting profession has taught him, Wilson shared, “Patience, humility, and the significance of being authentic.”

“I would say one of my biggest lessons is the importance of authenticity,” he underscored.

‘Papa’ film

To this day, he really enjoyed doing the movie “Papa,” which was written and directed by Dan Israely (with Zahava Israely as an executive producer).

The synopsis is: Ben (Wilson)is a wealthy college student living in Beverly Hills who, despite his fortunate upbringing, still feels lonely and disconnected from his busy adoptive parents. His unfulfilled life leads him to ask about his biological parents.

“That was a great movie,” Wilson said about “Papa.” “It was so great to work with a bunch of champion actors such as David Proval, the late but great Paul Sorvino, Daryl Hannah, Eric Roberts and Ann-Margret.”

“It was great to work with a group of legends, and also, Michael Madsen, who was also gone too soon. Overall, ‘Papa’ was such a great experience. I was really lucky to do something fun like that,” Wilson elaborated.

Stage of his life

On the title of the current chapter of his life, Wilson revealed, “In Transit.” I’m actively traveling right now,” he admitted.

Success

Regarding his definition of the word success, Wilson said, “Success means being able to have health and peace in my life whether it’s work, relationships or my family… and to hopefully have my bills paid.”

“Obviously, I always want more. I always strive to be better in my craft, in my work, and in my personal life,” he added.
