Actor, producer, and model Erik Fellows chatted about his latest endeavors, as well as AI, and the SAG-AFTRA strike.

His mantel holds an Indie Series Award for “Lead Actor in a Drama Series” for his acting work in “Purgatory.”

AI on the future of the industry

He shared his thoughts on AI (artificial intelligence) on the future of the entertainment business.

“In one aspect, the future definitely is here and it can be resourceful,” he said. “I am not a big fan of what they are trying to do with eliminating the human aspect of things and especially with actors and writers in the film industry. It is very scary what is going on with the technology.”

The 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike

“The strike was long overdue,” he admitted. “I have the utmost respect for everyone standing their ground and fighting for our rights! We all together have to make this happen and get what is deserved on all fronts!”

“Everyone works extremely hard in the industry to accomplish what we do and deliver. Everyone deserves equal rights here and I pray it is a good turn out in the end so everyone can get back to work,” he explained.

Latest acting projects

On his latest projects, he shared, “I have a handful of projects coming out such as ‘Sunlight,’ a new series called ‘Second Chances,’ ‘No Tears in Hell,’ and two projects that are still in development called ‘Love & Money’ and ‘A Beating Heart,’ which are set to go in early 2024.”

Success

Regarding his future of success, he said, “Success means just working hard and staying consistent on anything and everything we do in life. Failure is not an option and shouldn’t be for anyone.”

“Reaching goals are amazing but never folding over and giving in isn’t something I have ever been a part and never will. So success is just moving forward and never backing down in what you believe in and what you work so hard for,” he said.

Favorite mottos to live by

Fellows revealed some of his favorite mottos to live: “You only live once, this is our time so live it up, never take ‘no’ for an answer, the only thing holding you back is fear.. so don’t have any, you can only love someone once you love yourself.”

Bowling fan event in Hollywood

On February 10, 2024, he is looking forward to being a part of a bowling fan event and a dinner titled “Lanes & Laughs” in Hollywood, California, which is hosted by CaliBx Experience. “Well, I am super excited to meet the girls Nikki and Veronica. I love fan events and this one will be special because I will be rolling solo and will be able to interact with my fans more intimately compared to a lot of other fans events,” he said.

“We are going to be going bowling so I’m super excited to see who wins! It is going to be a blast,” he exclaimed.

“I want the fans to just come and enjoy themselves and have a great time . Bring your best bowling game on and feel free to ask me questions, and just have a blast,” he concluded.
