On July 26, Corbin performed at Stage 17 along with fellow country singer Canaan Smith. “I’m looking forward to it. They’ve really done a really great job up there, and it sounds great.”
Corbin will be performing at The Wellmont Theater in Montclair, New Jersey on October 5. “Man. We’re going to have a good time,” he promised. “We have a brand new single ‘A Girl Like You,’ and it hit the Top 25 actually. We are going to play some new songs off the record, and we’ll have a good time. That’s what it’s all about.”
On the impact of technology in the contemporary music scene, Corbin said, “The music has definitely gone more to the left, a little further than I ever thought it would ever go. That’s not a bad thing. It’s just how it is.”
Corbin is an avid user of technology himself. “Your life revolves around your phone. It’s ridiculous. You used to memorize numbers. I would memorize my number, my grandma’s number and my dad’s number. Now, you don’t memorize numbers anymore. You just store them in, and if you lost that phone, you wouldn’t have anything.”
For his fans, Corbin concluded, “I love my fans. Thank you for all your support out there. God bless each and every one of you. We love you from the bottom of our heart.”
