Catching up with country star Jon Pardi: ‘Head Over Boots’ (Includes interview)

On performing at The Paramount, Pardi said, “The Paramount is an amazing venue, and it was the best surprise of the weekend.”

He revealed that his new single “Head Over Boots,” which he co-wrote with Luke Laird, is doing well. “We came up with the idea in Texas, and I brought it back to Nashville and co-wrote it with Luke. It’s a good ole love dancing song,” he said.

Pardi had nothing but the kindest words for his special musical guests, Brothers Osborne. “I love those guys. To share the stage with them is awesome, because they are finally getting their album out, and it is good to be there with them,” he said. “They are great guys and great musicians and great songwriters. They are going to be big stars one day, and I’m just glad to be a part of their career.”

He praised Texas Roadhouse for being a great partnership. “They have been great. It is a really cool way to do things, and they have really helped me and Brothers Osborne out,” he said.

For aspiring country singers-songwriters, Pardi’s advice is simple. “Never give up,” he underscored. “Success means having many country fans at your concert that love you and your music. Country music fans are awesome, and I want more of them,” he concluded.
