Country rocker Tim Charron chatted about his latest endeavors, the digital age, and his future plans.

Charron is known for being “country rock with a twist of lime,” and aside from his music projects and live shows, he has been branching out in the acting and commercials world.

He also opened up about the digital world, and he furnished his thoughts on AI (artificial intelligence).

What inspires your music and songwriting?

Life inspires my music . All the things I love and don’t love, the ups and downs, the beauty and the ugly all filter into my music… though I really try to focus on the beauty!

Also, legendary people influence my music whether its people in the world of music, sports, art, friends and family.

What do your plans for the future include?

Moving my home base to Nashville, Tennessee, releasing new music and doing some super fun acting gigs this year.

How does it feel to be an artist in the digital age? (Now with streaming, technology and social media being so prevalent)

I actually love it ! My career has been based on live performances, big fun exciting concerts. I feel that social media, tech just help me spread the word to more fans.

What are your thoughts on AI on the future of the industry?

I try to look at the positives of AI and technology. It can help with a lot of things and I have been using it so save time with things like social media and podcasting.

I don’t think AI will every replace humans wanting to go to live music concerts and sharing the energy and connection that you can only get at a concert.

How does it feel to be “country rock with a twist of lime”?

It feels warm and sunny. Like I said, my music comes from my life. I am a beach boy at heart and I love everything about the tropics.

Which artists would you like to do a dream collab with someday?

Great question : Kenny Chesney, John Cougar Mellencamp, David Bisbal, Post Malone, Keith Urban, and Bruno Mars… I could go on forever.

What is your advice for young and emerging artists?

Develop your work ethic and grow a thick skin fast. Use the doubters to fuel your fire. Treat everyone well and put your blood, sweat and tears into it… it’s worth it .

What does the word success mean to you?

Doing what I absolutely love to do for a living (music, songwriting, performing, acting) and connecting with people through those art forms .

What would you like to say to your fans and supporters that have been with you on your journey? (It takes a village)

I, literally can’t do it without my fans and supporters . I thank everyone every chance I get for allowing me to live my dream life. Thank you all.
