Canadian Hallmark actor and producer, Brad Harder, opened up about his latest endeavors.

‘Ms. Match’ film

Most recently, he was a part of the film “Ms. Match,” which was directed by Lucie Guest. He starred alongside Shannon Chan-Kent, Madison Smith, Anja Savcic, Sachin Sahel, and Riun Garner. “The director, Lucie, was very in tune with what dating is like in 2023, so it was fun to work with her,” he said.

“That group of people that I had the chance to work with was pretty special and phenomenal, where everybody jived really well,” he said.

“Shannon Chan-Kent and I are kindred spirits, she is such a lovely person… She is just the best,” he admitted. “Madison Smith and I played opposites, where he played the ex-boyfriend and I played the new boyfriend, so it was fun. We were similar types… dark and handsome men.”

“Anja Savcic was such a brilliant lead actress. Roughly all of us, actors, were around the same age in this film… It was a lot of fun and there was a lot of energy. People were just excited to be there and play an array of different characters, and that was fun to be a part of,” he added.

New horror movie for Tubi

Harder revealed that he is filming a slasher film for Tubi. “This is my first experience with them,” he admitted. “I am looking forward to that one coming out.”

Other acting projects

He also noted that he will be a part of an upcoming movie on Lifetime. “There wasn’t a lot happening when we shot it,” he said. “I think it will turn out really well. Lucie Guest directed that movie as well.”

“Other than that, I just produced an indie pilot, which is in post-production. It was a very ambitious project and a very different way of doing things so that has kept me quite busy, especially at a time when there is not much to be busy with,” he added.

2022 Leo nomination

In 2022, he earned a Leo nomination for “Best Supporting Performance by a Male in a Television Movie” for “The Christmas House 2: Deck Those Halls.” “That was great,” he said. “Unfortunately, we lost Treat Williams, and he was a friend that I kept in touch with. We met on set and we became close. Treat and I became really good friends, so it was sad to see him go.”
