Broadway Barks

On being a part of Broadway Barks, Ali said, “It feels great to be here. This is a wonderful event, and this is my first time doing it. It’s a beautiful day outside and I am surrounded by dogs and cats… it’s perfect.”

Importance of this cause

Regarding the significance of this cause, he expressed, “This cause is important to me because I know that there are so many animals out there that need and want homes.”

“I’ve actually adopted animals in my life before, and you can always tell from the animal that they are so thankful to get a home, and they have all extra affection for you because they are so grateful to have a home. So, it is great to support that,” he elaborated.

“I hope people are inspired to take a dog home today, and give it a permanent home,” he acknowledged.

‘Hadestown’ on Broadway

Presently, he stars as Orpheus in the Tony award-winning musical “Hadestown” on Broadway.

On being a part of this iconic musical, he said, “It has been a blast… it is literally a dream come true for me; it is just perfect.”

New music

He also opened up about his new music. “We are slowly coming out with the new music, with one song a month, and the album will be out in September… so that has been really fun too,” Bourzgui said.
