Carrie Underwood tops country charts with ‘Heartbeat’

After charting for 16 weeks, Underwood’s “Heartbeat” topped the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts. Her poignant single garnered a rave review from Digital Journal.

The award-winning songstress is headlining her “Storyteller” tour. At this year’s Grammy awards telecast, Underwood collaborated with fellow country star Sam Hunt, where they performed a “Heartbeat” duet. Ironically enough, Hunt provides backing vocals on the actual recordings, in the bridge as well as the song’s chorus.
