Waterfront Park is located by the Lonsdale Quay in close proximity to shops, bus terminal and SeaBus that carries people between downtown Vancouver and North Vancouver. Main stage was a performing place for groups like Al Mozaico Flamenco founded by Oscar Nieto and Kasandra “La China” in 2002, Pro Arte Canada Day Dance, Shin Myung Korean Drum Group, North Shore Celtic Ensemble or FIVEuvUS jazz band. There were lots of attractions for kids (play garden, street entertainers, face painting), maple leaf miniature flags giving away and atmosphere of shopping for artsy souvenirs.
