Acclaimed actor Cameron Mathison chatted about “General Hospital,” “Carrot Cake Murder,” and other projects.

Byron Pulsifer once said: “Imagine, dream, and believe in yourself. With determination and belief, you will be surprised at what you accomplish.” This quote applies to Cameron Mathison.

‘General Hospital’

On being a part of ABC’s “General Hospital,” where he plays Drew, Mathison said, “It has been going great. It has been heating up. There are a lot of cool things happening with Drew, Carly, and the Quartermaines.”

“People might be going to prison, there are murders, amnesia, and all sorts of classic soap opera things,” he hinted.

‘Carrot Cake Murder’

In the Hallmark film “Carrot Cake Murder,” the synopsis is: Hannah Swensen (played by Alison Sweeney), everyone’s favorite crime-solving baker, is back on the case when the discovery of a skeleton in an old building sparks a murder investigation.

“That was amazing,” Mathison admitted. “It was so good to be back with that incredible team, and I think it did really well, Hallmark loved it.”

“I am going to shoot another film in a couple of weeks,” he foreshadowed.

Mathison is a cancer survivor who is presently in remission of renal cell carcinoma.

NuEthnix Formulations

Mathison shared that he enjoys being a part of NuEthix Formulations as their athlete brand ambassador. “I love those people. I posted a video for them coming up, where I’m doing a giveaway. Their gut health supplements are fantastic, and they have helped me out a lot,” he said. “I am super grateful to be a part of that family.”

‘State of Mind’ podcast on mental health

A few years ago, Mathison was a part of Maurice Benard’s “State of Mind” podcast on mental health, which is hosted by three-time Emmy winner Maurice Benard of “General Hospital.”

“State of Mind is great, Maurice is helping a lot of people with it, and we had such a good conversation,” Mathison said.

Christmas Con in Kansas

On Saturday, June 10, 2023, Mathison revealed that he is looking forward to being a part of Christmas Con in Overland Park Convention Center in Kansas. “I am very excited, that will be a first,” he said.

“I will be filming ‘General Hospital’ on Friday and then I fly over to Kansas for Christmas. It will be a busy time for travel but I am excited,” he added.

“I want to tell my fans that I am nothing without them, I owe the fans everything. I would like to thank the fans from the bottom of my heart. I hope they come out and see us,” he said, effusively.
