Actress Briana Price chatted about starring in “Divorced Sistas” on Paramount+, where she plays Tiffany.

How was your experience in ‘Divorced Sistas’?

It was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I stepped on set, I was surrounded by incredibly gifted and generous artists who made the work feel both meaningful and joyful.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of a story that speaks so honestly to the experiences of women.

What did you like most about your character Tiffany?

Tiffany is a woman navigating life after heartbreak and understanding new dynamics in her friendships while simultaneously learning how to trust her intuition. That’s so interesting to me.

What drew me to her was the opportunity to explore someone in real transition, someone who is not just healing but actually transforming. She is figuring out who she is outside of a relationship and recalibrating her place within her circle of friends.

That kind of emotional honesty and complexity is exactly the work I am committed to bringing to every role.

What did the screenplay teach you about yourself?

It reinforced something I have always believed: that art has the power to hold up a mirror.

Working through Tiffany’s journey gave me permission to examine parts of myself I might not have confronted otherwise, including the fears, the shadows, and the more vulnerable corners. That is ultimately what I love most about this work.

How does it feel to be an actress in the digital age?

It is an exciting and expansive time. Platforms like Paramount+ have created real opportunities for stories that might not have found an audience through traditional channels, and I think that is something worth celebrating.

At the same time, I try to stay grounded in the fundamentals: the practice, the repetition, the deep study of the craft. The landscape may shift, but the commitment to truth in performance never does.

What do your plans for the future include?

There is a great deal I am looking forward to. All American will be airing this July, and I am about to begin production on a new independent film that I am very excited about.

Beyond that, I am continuing to develop Party Princess, an original pilot created with Aubrey Reynolds, which feels like the most complete expression of everything I care about as a writer, a thinker, and an artist. The future feels full of possibility.

What is your advice for young and emerging actors?

Treat it like an athlete treats their sport. Fall in love with the work that happens behind the scenes, the classes, the practice, the repetition, the preparation that no one ever sees.

Study the craft from the inside out and resist the urge to measure your progress against anyone else’s timeline. Most importantly, commit to telling the truth. That is what audiences respond to and what will sustain you over a long career.

What does the word success mean to you?

Success, to me, is the freedom to express yourself fully and authentically. It is building a life and a body of work that reflects all of who you are, including the parts that are complicated, vulnerable, and still evolving.

It is also about community. I want to help create spaces where artists feel genuinely free to take risks and collaborate with curiosity and openness.

What would you like to say to your readers about ‘Divorced Sistas’?

I want them to know that this story was made with real love and intention. The second half of Season One is currently airing on Paramount+ and I hope audiences will give themselves the gift of sitting with it.

It is funny, it is honest, and it speaks to experiences that deserve to be seen.
I am so proud to be a part of it, and I cannot wait for everyone to see what unfolds.
