Actor Brandon Beemer (“Days of Our Lives”) chatted about his 2022 in-person fan events.
He is best known for playing Shawn-Douglas Brady on the NBC soap opera “Days of Our Lives.”
2022 Indie Series Award nomination
Earlier this month, Beemer was nominated for a 2022 Indie Series Award for “Best Supporting Actor — Drama” for his acting work in “The Bay.” “That was awesome. It is always cool to be recognized for the hard work that you put into the projects that you do,” he said.
‘9-1-1: Lone Star’
Recently, Beemer also played the role of Patrick in the popular TV series “9-1-1: Lone Star.” “It was pretty darn cool to be able to work with Rob Lowe, he has had an enormous and crazy career so it was neat to be able to do that. It was also nice to work on something outside of daytime,” he exclaimed.
Graceland fan event in Memphis
On April 16, Beemer is looking forward to being a part of a fan event in Graceland, in Memphis, Tennessee, which is produced by Star Image Entertainment. Beemer will be joined by his “Days of Our Lives” co-stars Dan Feuerriegel (EJ DiMera) and Eric Martsolf (Brady Black). “I am excited for Graceland. It will be fun,” he admitted. “It’s going to be a good time, I’ve never been to Graceland. It will be great to experience it with the fans.”
Speaking of Star Image Entertainment, on October 15, Beemer will also be a part of their “Retro Rewind Roller Skating and Dance Party,” which will be held in Montreal, Canada. “I don’t remember the last time that I went roller skating. That is going to be interesting. I am sure I will figure it out pretty quickly. It will be nice to see the fans in their roller skates,” he said.
‘Samantha’s Friends’ fundraisers
On May 14 and 15, 2022, Beemer will also be a part of the “Samantha’s Friends” benefit fundraiser, which will have a “Casino Royale” theme to it, and it benefits the Southeastern Guide Dogs. “That will be fun too,” he said. “I haven’t done Samantha’s Friends since 2008, so it will be nice to see everything. We will get to see the fans and raise some money for the Southeastern Guide Dogs.”
On the title of the current chapter of his life, Beemer said, “More of the Same.” “That’s a good thing, I have no complaints,” he admitted.
If he were to have any superpower, Beemer revealed that it would be to “fly fast.” “That way, I could get away from things when I want to,” he said with a sweet laugh. “I like to fly, look down, and avoid the traffic in Los Angeles. I would like to fly fast though.”
For his dedicated fans, Beemer concluded, “Thank you very much. You are the best fans anybody could ever ask for and hopefully, I can keep doing more so there are more journeys to come.”
