In September of 2021, actor Brandon Beemer has a major milestone to celebrate: his 15th anniversary on “Days of Our Lives” on NBC. Digital Journal has the scoop.
He has played the role of Shawn-Douglas Brady, on and off on “Days of Our Lives” since September of 2006. His character is the son of the iconic super-couple Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso), and the brother of Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal).

Beemer is one of the best-loved actors in daytime television. Check out the following parade of adulations in honor of Beemer, which features testimonials from actors that have worked with him on such projects as “Days of Our Lives,” “The Bay,” the thriller “Gates of Darkness,” and the Lifetime movie “Their Killer Affair.”

The following quotations affirm the collective shoutouts of praise for this seasoned actor and Emmy award-winning producer.
Peter Reckell, who played his father in “Days of Our Lives,” remarked, “I was very fortunate to work with so many amazing actors on that show, Brandon was literally like my son, not only on set but off the set. You don’t get that personality much with younger actors. Brandon was so great. He asked questions and his ego didn’t get in the way at all. That doesn’t happen much with actors.”
Martha Madison, who plays his on-screen wife Belle Black, stated, “I love Brandon and over the years I’ve worked with him, he has grown exponentially as an actor and as a terrific human. He’s a very good friend of mine. Brandon [Beemer] can play that really tough, smart professional just as much as he can play the hero, the sweet husband, and loving father. He really has a much wider range than what he typically gets to play. It is nice to see him recognized for his work.”
Victoria Konefal, who plays his sister Ciara, said, “It’s really good to work with Brandon. He was one of the first people I ever worked with on the show because he plays my brother.”
Ronn Moss, who played his father in “The Bay,” said, “It has been great to work with Brandon. He is a good person. I previously worked with Brandon in The Bold and The Beautiful years ago. I like him.”

Erik Fellows, who played his brother in “The Bay,” shared, “Brandon is my brother from another mother. I have mad love for you. I’m proud of you and I am so glad we had the chance to play siblings on-screen and we became boys off-screens. Cheers to another 15 years.”
Melissa Archer played with Beemer in the Lifetime film “Their Killer Affair,” and she complimented him. “I love Brandon. He’s fun and a good actor to boot. We got along great and definitely played well off each other,” Archer said.

Lesley-Anne Down worked with Beemer in both “The Bold and The Beautiful” and the thriller “Gates of Darkness.” “I had worked with Brandon for four years on The Bold and The Beautiful. I think he did a wonderful job in this film ‘Gates of Darkness,’ and it was a nice get-together. He’s a lovely guy and we got along very well together,” she said.
Digital Journal’s Markos Papadatos hailed his acting performance in “Gates of Darkness” as “dynamic” and “controlled,” and noted that it was equal in excellence, depth, and mystery to Philip Seymour Hoffman’s acting in “Doubt.”

Top celebrity photographer Bjoern Kommerell has been photographing Brandon Beemer for nearly two decades and he proclaimed him as one of the best actors in the business that he has had the privilege to work with.
Over the years, Beemer supports such philanthropic causes and nonprofit organizations as Cedars CanSupport in Canada, as well as “Samantha’s Friends,” which benefits the Southeastern Guide Dogs.
Congratulations to Brandon Beemer for his 15 years on “Days of Our Lives,” and the audience ought to look forward to the next 15 years.
