Billy Joel to play Madison Square Garden concert on March 15

Joel’s 70th career concert at Madison Square Garden, which Digital Journal had the pleasure to review, garnered a glowing review.

Throughout his illustrious career in the music industry, which spans over four decades, Joel has sold over 150 million records worldwide; moreover, Joel is the sixth best-selling recording artist of all time, as well as the third best-selling solo artist and one of the highest-grossing touring acts in the world.

Joel is a winner of six Grammy awards, as well as the coveted Grammy Legend Award. He also has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles. He is a member of the prestigious Songwriter’s Hall of Fame, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, where he was inducted by the legendary Ray Charles. Joel has performed shows at Madison Square Garden for charitable purposes such as “12-12-12, The Concert For Sandy Relief” and “The Concert for New York City,” which raised funds for the victims of September 11, 2001 and the heroes.
