Billy Flynn and Kate Mansi return to Salem in ‘Days of Our Lives’

Flynn and Mansi are reprising their roles as Chad DiMera and Abby Deveraux respectively, which make up the super-couple “Chabby.” They just completed their critically-acclaimed digital drama series “Chad & Abby in Paris,” which launched on the DOOL app. It featured a total of 16 short episodes (all of which were less than 10 minutes in duration).

In the final episode of “Chad & Abby in Paris,” the audience finds out that Abby’s mom, Jennifer Horton (played by Melissa Reeves), is in a coma, which gives the power-couple a good enough reason to return home to Salem, after all the trials and tribulations they went through while living in Paris (such as Austin Reed and Juliet, both of which tried to get in the way of their marriage, by coming on to Abby and Chad).

This past September, as Digital Journal reported, Flynn celebrated five years on NBC’s Days of Our Lives as Chad DiMera, for which he earned two Daytime Emmy nominations.

The show itself, Days of Our Lives, just celebrated its 54th anniversary on NBC. The hit soap opera first aired on November 8, 1965.
